Spartan Family Fun Day Set for Aug. 15

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State football team will conduct its annual Family Fun Day Sunday, Aug. 15 from 2:45-5:45 p.m. in Spartan Stadium. There is no admission charge.
Fans are invited to attend the football team's first practice in full pads from 2:45-4:45 p.m. Following the two-hour workout, Spartan players and coaches will be available for autographs and pictures until 5:45 p.m.
Spartan cheerleaders will help distribute free schedule posters and Frisbees. In addition, MSU trainers will be on hand to wrap wrists and apply eye black for young fans.
?Family Fun Day has become a tremendous success over the years, and the attendance continues to grow,? MSU head coach Nick Saban said. ?Our fans mean a great deal to our program and that's why we set aside a special day for them. This event is a small way to thank our fans for their loyalty and support. Our players and coaches look forward to Family Fun Day, and they truly enjoy the interaction with the fans.?
