Spartans Scheduled for Three ABC-TV Appearances

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State will make at least three television appearances on ABC during the 2000 college football season, according to early selections jointly announced by the Big Ten and the TV network.
ABC Sports will televise Michigan State's Sept. 23 home game against Notre Dame, with kickoff set for either 12 noon or 3:30 p.m. EDT. In addition, ABC has selected two Spartan road contests, Oct. 21 at Michigan (3:30 p.m. EDT) and Nov. 18 at Penn State (3:30 p.m. EST).
Game times have been announced for two other Spartan games, Oct. 7 at Iowa and Homecoming Oct. 14 vs. Wisconsin, with both contests scheduled for 12:10 p.m. EDT. As 12-day picks, the MSU-Iowa game will be televised by ABC, espn2 or ESPN Plus Regional while the MSU-Wisconsin game will be carried by ESPN, espn2 or ESPN Plus Regional.
Additional starting times and TV plans for Michigan State's remaining 2000 schedule will be released after July 1.
