What are your impressions of Ryan Van Dyke thus far in the preseason?
T.J. Duckett He's coming through well. He's going to be a great QB. Preseason he is looking really good.

T.J. Duckett Me! I don't know. We'll see in four years!

Has watching film of the Herd revealed any weaknesses that you feel can be exploited?
T.J. Duckett Not at all. They came out and played a complete game and scored 63 points. No weaknesses at all.

T.J. Duckett I'm really 4.4 or 4.5.

Do you think the home crowd at Spartan Stadium will play a factor in the outcome of Saturday's game?
T.J. Duckett Hopefully it will. Hopefully they will come out wild and be in Marshall's ears the whole game.

T.J. Duckett Not really. No particular team.

What has been your impression of MSU's highly regarded recruiting class? Are they living up to the hype?
T.J. Duckett Hopefully! But we have to wait till they get a chance to play. But they had a really good class.

Which do you prefer real grass or turf?
T.J. Duckett It really doesn't make a difference at all. Turf is faster and on grass you get dirtier. But it really doesn't make a difference.

Is the 4.4 really true? I hear that you dropped 15 lbs, does it make you better speed wise or is it reversed and make the hits hurt more!!
T.J. Duckett First part, yes, 4.4 is true. I did lose 10-15 lbs. The hits will be more impact yes.

TJ everyone is talking about you as one of the premier running backs in the country, but do you ever have an inkling to play QB again?
T.J. Duckett I'm done playing QB. I might throw a pass or something once or twice but I'm done, that's it.
