Spartan Hockey Banquet Tickets Available

East Lansing, Mich. - The Spartan Hockey post-season banquet will be held on Tuesday, April 10, and today (Monday, March 26) is the final day to purchase your tickets.
This year's banquet will once again be held at the Eagle Eye Golf Club. The banquet begins at 7 p.m., with cocktail hour beginning at 6 p.m.
The annual banquet will not only honor the accomplishments of the 2011-12 Spartan team and the nine Spartan seniors, but will also be the announcement of the team's annual individual awards.
In addition, Spartan great Dwayne Norris (1988-92) will be honored as the program's Distinguished Spartan. Norris is a four-year letterwinner who was the 1992 CCHA Player of the Year and a First-Team All-CCHA selection in addition to Team MVP and Best Offensive Player honors. Norris helped MSU to two CCHA Regular-Season and Tournament titles (1989, 1990), and three NCAA Tournament appearances, including trips to the Frozen Four in 1989 and 1992. Norris played in 167 career games in Green and White, and his 218 career points and 105 career goals are both seventh all-time in the MSU recordbook. Norris' 44 goals as a senior is the fourth-most in a single season in MSU history.
