Spartans Take Part in Big Ten Hockey Media Day

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The inaugural Big Ten Hockey Media Day took place on Thursday at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn. Xcel Energy Center is home to the 2014 Big Ten Tournament. Third-year Spartan head coach Tom Anastos joined his counterparts from around the league in taking part in several interviews throughout the day. MSU senior captain Greg Wolfe and sophomore goaltender Jake Hildebrand also made the trip to meet with media from around the country.

The Spartans will begin the season with an exhibition game against Western Ontario on Oct. 9 at Munn Ice Arena. The regular season begins Oct. 18 when MSU heads to UMass for a two-game series.
