The annual Spartan Hockey Pro Camp wrapped up on Friday, Aug. 22, with over 20 MSU hockey alums and other pros taking part in the weeklong training event. A total of 15 current NHLers, including MSU alums and guests, took part in the camp, which was run by MSU assistant coach Tom Newton.
"It's good to be back in East Lansing and you always look forward to Pro Camp. It's fun, but at the same time we're getting ready for our respective seasons coming up," said Justin Abdelkader of the Detroit Red Wings.
"It's fun to come back to Michigan State and be on the ice with your fellow Spartans and tell some stories," said Torey Krug of the Boston Bruins.
