Spartans Host Annual Women's Hockey Clinic

The 2014 Spartan Hockey Women's Clinic will take place on Sept. 3.

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Spartan hockey program hosted its third annual women's clinic on Wednesday night at Munn Arena with over 50 participants on hand. The experience included learning fundamentals of the game, a tour of the Spartan facilities and an on-ice session followed by Q and A with the coaches and staff.

"It's important for us to connect with the fan base. Whether students or adults, we want to be sure we're making a connection and this brings people into the program," said MSU head coach Tom Anastos. "It's a fun night."
