Record Crowd Attends Meet the Spartans

EAST LANSING, Mich. - A record crowd of 17,000 Michigan State fans attended the 13th annual "Meet the Spartans" Tuesday evening at Spartan Stadium.

The event gave Spartan fans the chance to meet the entire 2015 Michigan State football team and receive autographs from players and head coach Mark Dantonio.

Fans also toured the press box, visited the Spartan Stadium field, met with Sparty, and took photos with the 2015 Cotton Bowl Classic and 100th Rose Bowl Game trophies. In addition, Spartan Sports Network gave fans an opportunity to describe a memorable moment as play-by-play announcer.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Spartans conducted practice in front of the BTN Football Tour, featuring Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith.

The team will continue preseason camp with practice on Wednesday.
