INDIANAPOLIS -- The final three Spartans at the NFL Scouting Combine performed their on-field testing and position drills on Sunday as the defensive linemen took the field at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Three-time first-team All-Big Ten selection Shilique Calhoun, one of the most productive defensive players in school history who ranks second in the Michigan State record book in sacks (27.0) and fourth in tackles for loss (44), was a top performer in four of the testing categories. His athleticism was on full display as he ranked third in the 3-cone drill (6.97 seconds), tied for fourth in the 20-yard shuttle (4.25 seconds), tied for fourth in the vertical jump (35.0 inches) and tied for 11th in the 40-yard dash (4.82 seconds). Calhoun also leapt 115.0 inches in the broad jump.

Lawrence Thomas, who was a starter as both a defensive tackle and defensive end at Michigan State, tied for fourth place with a 35.0 inch vertical jump. He was also clocked at 4.98 seconds in the 40 and had a broad jump of 113.0 inches.
Defensive tackle Joel Heath tied for 15th with a 33.0 inch vertical leap and also recorded a broad jump of 113.0 inches. In the running tests, he was timed at 5.02 seconds in the 40, 4.52 seconds in the 20-yard shuttle and 7.44 seconds in the 3-cone drill.
The 2016 NFL Scouting Combine concludes Monday with on-field testing and drills with the defensive backs. Coverage starts at 9 a.m. on the NFL Network and NFL.com.
