EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State men's golf team heads to Stillwater, Oklahoma for NCAA Regionals May 16-18 at Karsten Creek Golf Club. Seventh-seeded Michigan State is returning to NCAA Regionals for the first time since the 2009 season. MSU will head to Stillwater, Oklahoma on May 16-18. The Spartans will be returning to familiar territory. In 2009, Michigan State was also the seventh seed at the South Central Regional in Stillwater. Once again, the Spartans will play at the Karsten Creek Golf Club.
"We are really excited. We have been building toward this for a long time. We have got some guys who are experienced and have know that this is where we are going. It is great to see them accomplish this, and we are a team that can really do some things next week. We are really pumped," MSU head coach Casey Lubahn said. "This was them achieving on the level that I saw them practice at everyday for a whole year. I think there is more in them; I think there is more to go. I think that if we play well this week we will get out, and that is really what I am looking forward to."

// LUBAHN'S THOUGHTS
"Right now we are focused on being very strict and tough in practice, so that when we get there we can let loose and have a little fun. What I have loved about this team is that they follow the rankings and they follow where they are at. As it got toward the end, they got stronger. They weren't trying to sneak into the tournament, they were trying to get better," Lubahn added.
