With a loss, the Spartans now own a 4-4 overall record with a 1-2 mark in the Big Ten. Ohio State remains unbeaten at 7-0 overall and 2-0 in conference action.
Michigan State scored the first points of the match at 125 pounds as No. 7 ranked sophomore Rayvon Foley defeated Malik Heinselman by way of major decision, 19-6. Foley's victory avenged a 13-12 loss to Heinselman at the 2018 World Team Trials in May 2018.
