Â
EAST LANSING, Mich. -Â The Michigan State swimming and diving teams will open up the new year on Friday, Jan. 10 at 4 p.m. as they host Purdue University. The meet will take place at the McCaffree Pool in IM West
"Purdue is one of my favorite places to go. I have immense amount of respect for Dan Ross and John Klinge, the head coaches down there and their assistant coaches are great as well," said head coach Matt Gianiodis. "They've got a great team, they always do. It's super competitive most of the time, so I'm looking forward to going down there."
Â
The Spartans had a record-breaking fall semester with five Spartans setting new lifetime personal bests at the Toyota US Open in December.
Â
Michigan State also broke four varsity records in a roughly two-week span.
