East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State fought back from a nine-point deficit midway through the second half and a four-point deficit in the final four minutes as the Spartans beat No. 4 Ohio State, 71-67, at the Breslin Center on Thursday night. Junior forward Aaron Henry (Indianapolis, Ind./Ben Davis) and graduate guard Joshua Langford (Huntsville, Ala./Madison Academy) hit key jumpers in the final minute to complete the comeback victory for MSU.
It is the first time Michigan State has ever beaten Big Ten two teams ranked in the Top 5 of the Associated Press poll in the same week.
Henry scored 18 points, grabbed four rebounds, handed out four assists and blocked three shots to lead the Spartans, while junior forward Gabe Brown (Ypsilanti, Mich./Belleville) added 11 points and five rebounds as nine different players scored at least three points for MSU..

- The Spartans had trailed by nine points, 49-40, after a fast break layup from Ohio State's CJ Walker capped a 9-0 run with 12:27 to play.
- MSU chipped away over the next six minutes and tied the game at 55-all on a jumper from Marcus Bingham Jr. (Grand Rapids, Mich./GR Catholic Central) with 6:42 left.
