College Park, Md. – Michigan State's men's basketball team fell behind early and could not recover, as Maryland beat the Spartans, 73-55, on Sunday afternoon at the XFinity Center.
Graduate guard Joshua Langford (Huntsville, Ala./Madison Academy) scored 12 points, grabbed six rebounds and had four assists to lead the Spartans, while junior forward Aaron Henry (Indianapolis, Ind./Ben Davis) had 11 points, six rebounds and four assists and redshirt junior forward Joey Hauser (Stevens Point, Wis./Stevens Point) added 11 points and eight rebounds.

Michigan State has a three-game win streak snapped and falls to 13-10 overall and -7-10 in the Big Ten Conference, while Maryland improves to 15-10 overall and 9-9 in league play.
