East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State men's golf team shot a 3-over par 287 in the third and final round and finished in a tie for ninth place among 14 teams with a 54-hole score of 1-over 853 at the Windon Memorial Classic, held at the Lake Shore Country Club in Glencoe, Ill. on Tuesday.
"It was a disappointing performance the last couple of days and the guys certainly weren't happy with it," Head Coach Casey Lubahn said. "Ashton was very good for us and I was happy to see how he played, but we kind of reverted back to some bad habits and just didn't play as we expect we should. We're going to get back to campus this week and regroup before we get back out there again at Notre Dame next week."
