Michigan State to Host Quail Valley Collegiate this Weekend
10/15/2022 4:56:00 PM | Men's Golf
East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State's men's golf team returns to the course this weekend for the first time in two weeks, hosting the Quail Valley Intercollegiate in Vero Beach, Florida.
The ninth annual event, hosted by the Spartans, will take place at Quail Valley Golf Club, Sunday (36 holes) and Monday (18 holes). The 16-team field includes nine schools ranked among the top-60 nationally by Golfstat.
"It's great to be back out on the course for the first time in a few weeks and I can't think of a better place to be than at Quail Valley," Head Coach Casey Lubahn said. "This is the ninth year we're serving as the host for this event, which really has become one of the best events on the calendar. The work that Don Meadows and his staff at Quail Valley Golf Club have done to welcome the teams that we bring in for this event is second-to-none and we can't thank them enough for making this a premier event. A special thanks to John and Kathleen Gorman for making this a special weekend. They've welcomed us over the years and have developed a relationship with our program that means a lot to our team."
