EAST LANSING, Mich. – Following the 2022 NFL Draft, former Michigan State Spartans Kevin Jarvis (offensive lineman, Detroit Lions) and Jacub Panasiuk (defensive end, Washington Commanders) signed as undrafted free agents, while center Matt Allen (New York Giants), kicker Matt Coghlin (Chicago Bears), linebacker Noah Harvey (Las Vegas Raiders), defensive end Drew Jordan (Carolina Panthers) and quarterback Anthony Russo (Carolina Panthers) were invited to rookie minicamp.
Four Spartans were selected in the 2022 NFL Draft – running back Kenneth Walker III (Seattle Seahawks, second round, No. 41 overall), wide receiver Jalen Nailor (Minnesota Vikings, sixth round, No. 191 overall), tight end Connor Heyward (Pittsburgh Steelers, sixth round, No. 208 overall) and offensive tackle AJ Arcuri (Los Angeles Rams, seventh round, No. 261 overall). It marked the most NFL Draft selections for the program since 2016.
