Gymnastics Hosts Meet the Spartans Saturday at Jension Field House

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State gymnastics hosts its annual Meet the Spartans event on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. in the MSU Gymnastics practice gym on the third floor of Jenison Field House.

Photos and autographs will follow at the end of the event. Admission is free.

The event gives fans a chance to see the Spartan gymnastics team in action before the start of the 2024 season. Gymnasts will begin by alternating routines on vault and beam, followed by alternating on bars and floor.

The event also gives fans the opportunity to see five newcomers for the first time – freshmen Kendall Abney, Emma Misenheimer, Gabi Ortiz, Isabella Trostel and MaKayla Tucker.

2023 Big Ten Coach of the Year Mike Rowe returns 18 of his 19 athletes from last season's team that earned the program's first Big Ten regular season title and finished third at the NCAA Pittsburgh Regional Final. The Spartans broke the team overall score record three times and ended the season ranked 11th in the NCAA.

Saturday's event serves as the first of two exhibition events for Michigan State. The Spartans will host their annual Green and White at Jenison Field House on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 1 p.m.
