
Spartans Come Back Late and Win at Maryland, 61-59

College Park, Md. – Graduate guard Tyson Walker hit a 3-pointer with 44 seconds left and sophomore guard Tre Holloman forced a turnover on the final possession of the game as Michigan State's men's basketball team held on for a 61-59 win over Maryland at the Xfinity Center on Sunday afternoon.
Walker led four players in double figures with 15 points, while adding a game-high five assists and five steals. Graduate forward Malik Hall added 12 points and a team-best six rebounds, while senior guard A.J. Hoggard added 12 points and two assists and Holloman finished with 12 points.

Michigan State improves to 12-7 overall and 4-4 in the Big Ten Conference, while Maryland falls to 11-8 overall and 3-5 in league play.
