No. 17 Michigan State Beats San Jose State, 79-60, for Third-Straight Win

EAST LANSING, Mich. – No. 17 Michigan State opened up a 23-point lead at halftime and San Jose State cut the lead to 10 points in the second half but the Spartans pulled away for a 79-60 win on Thursday night at the Breslin Center.
Senior forward Jaxon Kohler led four players in double figures, scoring 17 points and grabbing 18 rebounds for his second double-double this season.
Senior center Carson Cooper added 17 points and seven rebounds, redshirt sophomore guard Jeremy Fears Jr. added 15 points, nine assists and five rebounds, while sophomore guard Kur Teng finished with 10 points.
