Bloomington, Ind. – Three players scored in double figures as No. 13 Michigan State led from start to finish in a 77-64 win over Indiana on Sunday afternoon at Assembly Hall, completing a two-game sweep of the Hoosier State this week.

The win gave Michigan State wins at both Purdue and Indiana in the same season for the first time since 2013-14.

Senior forward Jaxon Kohler scored 21 points and had 13 rebounds to lead the Spartans, recording his 12th double-double of the season.

Redshirt sophomore guard Jeremy Fears Jr. had 21 points and a game-high nine assists and Sophomore guard Kur Teng hit six 3-pointers and finished with 18 points.

Records
Michigan State, winners of five of its last six games, improves to 24-5 overall and 14-4 in the Big Ten Conference, while Indiana falls to 17-12 overall and 8-10 in league play.

Recap

Michigan State opened the second half ahead 45-37 before pushing the lead to 12 points, 50-38, after a 3-pointer from Kohler and a fast break layup from Fears.
The Spartans led by 11 points, 54-43, after a Kohler tip-in (14:28), but back-to-back baskets from Wilkerson (game-high 29 points) pulled the Hoosiers to within six, 54-48, before Teng hit a pair of 3-pointers, giving MSU a 60-52 edge (11:24).
Leading 60-55 after a Wilkerson 3-pointer, freshman forward Jordan Scott followed with one of his own at 10:40 and that triggered a 7-0 burst, including a Kohler hook and a tip-in from Carr, to push the lead back to 12 points, 67-55 (9:17).
Indiana did not get closer than eight points (62-54) the rest of the way and Fears scored MSU's last five points over the final 1:25 to close out the win.
The Spartans went into the break with an eight-point lead, 45-37, led by 14 points from Kohler and 12 from Teng, who hit four from 3-point land.
Kohler scored nine of the team's first 11 points, including a layup at 16:08 mark to give MSU an 11-5 lead.
Indiana pulled to within 14-10 on a layup from DeVries before Michigan State went on a 7-0 run over 1:49, taking a 21-10 lead on layup from freshman forward Cam Ward at 11:56.
The Spartans extended their lead to 13 points, first on Kohler free throws to make it 26-13 (9:30) and then on a 3-pointer from Teng with 4:24 to play, giving the Spartans a 39-26 lead and forcing the Hoosier to call a timeout.
Indiana cut the lead to 45-37 on a 3-pointer from DeVries with 42 seconds left and the Spartans missed a chance to extend the lead in the final seconds of the half.
