INDOOR: Put together a breakout junior campaign for the Green and White, establishing himself as a premier standard in the weight throw... Opened the winter season with a fifth-place finish at the GVSU Holiday Open, recording a mark of 20.40m... Captured the weight throw title at the Simmons-Harvey Invitational with a launch of 20.45m... Followed it up by securing a runner-up second-place finish at the Meyo Invitational after throwing 20.32m... Clinched another first-place title at the Michigan Invitational, hitting a mark of 19.90m... Topped out with a third-place performance at the Heartland Invitational with a mark of 20.82m... Capped off the indoor loop at the Big Ten Indoor Championships, locking down fifth place overall with a lifetime-best heave of 21.02m.Â
OUTDOOR: Delivered a historic, dominant spring stretch to emerge as one of the elite hammer throwers in the nation... Opened the season at the Auto-Owners Insurance Spartan Invite, taking third in the hammer throw (60.21m) and 10th in the discus (42.68m)... Placed 11th at the Big Red Classic with a throw of 61.89m before capturing fifth overall at the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet, clearing 65.52m... Topped the podium at the Jesse Owens Track & Field Classic, capturing the hammer throw title with a massive mark of 65.92m... Scored for the Spartans at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships, placing ninth overall with a throw of 65.31m... Punched his ticket to the national stage at the NCAA East First Round, unleashing a colossal lifetime-best launch of 65.99m—the second-farthest throw in Michigan State history—to qualify for his debut appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
