Volleyball Reveals Complete 2026 Schedule, Season Tickets on Sale Now

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State volleyball announced its complete 2026 schedule on Wednesday. The Spartans' full slate features 28 regular-season matches, including 15 inside the Breslin Center.Â
Season ticket renewals and new season tickets are available now.Â
With the debut of the Big Ten Volleyball Tournament this fall, MSU will increase its number of non-conference matches to 11 while playing a 17-match B1G schedule. Â
The Spartans' 2026 schedule features 12 NCAA Tournament teams, three teams who won conference regular-season titles and a trio of conference tournament champions from last season. MSU will also take part in the inaugural Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge Week during the first week of September, host the fourth annual Kathy DeBoer Invitational presented by Auto-Owners Insurance and participate in five Big Ten | Discover Volleyball Challenge matches in October.Â
MSU opens the 2026 season at home for the second-straight year with a pair of weekend matches at the Breslin Center, hosting 2025 NCAA Second Round participant Miami (Fla.) on Aug. 28 before LIU, the 2025 Northeast Conference regular season and tournament champions, visit on Aug. 29.Â
The Big Ten/SEC Challenge Week is set for the following Tuesday and Wednesday, where MSU will play neutral-site matches against LSU (Sept. 1) and South Carolina (Sept. 2) at Michigan's Crisler Center in Ann Arbor. The Spartans will finish the week with a contest at Central Michigan on Sept. 5.Â
The Spartans return home to host Western Michigan on Sept. 8 and are back on the road for the weekend with two matches in Morehead, Kentucky. MSU will play a neutral-site contest against Cincinnati at Morehead State's Johnson Arena on Sept. 11 and take on Morehead State on Sept. 12. The Eagles were co-regular season champions in the Ohio Valley Conference last season.Â
Oakland visits East Lansing for a mid-week matchup on Sept. 12 before MSU hosts the fourth annual Kathy DeBoer Invitational presented by Auto-Owners Insurance. The Spartans will take on Drake on Sept. 18 and close non-conference action against 2025 Horizon League Tournament champion Wright State on Sept. 19 in this year's edition of the tournament, which will be held at the Breslin Center.Â
Conference play for the Spartans begins at home on Sept. 25 against Washington. MSU's first Big Ten road contests take place the following week on the West Coast against UCLA (Oct. 2) and USC (Oct. 4). The Spartans will play nine home conference matches and eight road matches, wrapping up the regular season against Michigan at home on Nov. 17.Â
The inaugural Big Ten Tournament will take place from Nov. 20-25 at Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana, beginning with three opening round matches followed by four second-round matches. The competition will then progress through the quarterfinals and semifinals, culminating with the championship match slated for Nov. 25. One off day will be built into the tournament schedule. The top 15 teams in the regular-season standings will qualify for the tournament.  Â
NCAA Tournament action begins Dec. 3.Â
Match times and television designations will be announced at a later date.Â
