FRESHMAN (2021): B1G Distinguished Scholar ... Academic All-Big Ten ... Appeared in 24 matches for the Spartans as a freshman ... Saw her first action as a Spartan vs. Wright State (8/28) ... Had a career-best six digs at Iowa (10/1).
SPRING 2021:Â Enrolled at Michigan State in January 2021 and practiced with the team.Â
CLUB:  Played for Neil Rusenski at Michigan Elite … JVA Watch List in 2018 and 2019.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner at East Lansing High School before homeschooling her final year, where her squad finished third at nationals … All-Conference and Academic All-Conference selection as a sophomore and a junior … Earned All-Area Honorable Mention kudos as well as an All-District nod after her junior season … Was a Distinguished Scholar in 2017, 2018, and 2019 … Also played one year of varsity softball as a freshman, earning All-Conference, All -Area, and All-District honors.
PERSONAL:  Daughter of Fred and Susan Danziger … Has one younger brother, John … Is a 4th generation Spartan joining over a dozen family members dating back to the 1920’s … Great Grandfather, Fred Danziger, played football and baseball for the Spartans and served as the football captain in 1929 before playing professional football in Cleveland. To this day, The Danziger Award is given annually to the most valuable football player from the Metro Detroit Area … Father, Fred, was an MSU Grad Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach… Is a member of Athletes in Action and volunteers at The Commons Church in Okemos.
