2005-06: Went 0-2 at the Big Ten Championships, falling to NCAA qualifiers Eric Luedke of Iowa and Dan Bedoy of Purdue...Split time with Greg Goidosik at 165 pounds, wrestling in eight of 14 duals and seven of eight Big Ten dual meets...Went 6-14 on the year...Won his lone match of the dual-meet season against Cleveland State[apos]s Josh Ging, 6-1, on Dec. 10.
2004-05: Started the season winning 10 of his first 12 matches...Took sixth at the MSU Open...Recorded three falls en route to a third-place finish at the North Carolina Open...Notched his lone technical fall of the season against Eastern Michigan[apos]s R.J. Pratt, 18-3...Won his first career Big Ten dual match against Penn State[apos]s Steve Troup, 9-6...Tallied his first dual-meet fall against Ohio State[apos]s John Vogel at 1:09 of the match...Went 1-2 at the 2005 Big Ten Championships, recording a victory against Jarrad Turner of Penn State, 6-2.
2003-04: Redshirted...Notched a 5-4 record with two pins in open competition.
Prep: Two-time state champion, winning the 152-pound title in 2002 and the 160-pound title in 2003...Finished with an overall high school record of 117-11...Went 47-1 his senior season...Finished third in the state his freshman season at 140 pounds...Two-time first-team wrestling Academic All-American...Four-year letterwinner in wrestling...Earned two varsity letters at Mt.
