2006-07 (Redshirt): Earned four wins in four tournaments at 285, all falls...At the EMU Open, posted two falls, defeating Lindenwood[apos]s Juan Rodriguez in 3:06 and Findlay[apos]s Cody Ruffer in 1:49...Also pinned Virginia[apos]s Jack Danilkowicz in 2:42 at the PSU Open...Posted final win over Purdue[apos]s Roger Vukobratovich, a fall in 5:22, at Cleveland State[apos]s Open.
PREP: Took second in the state his senior season, finishing with a 40-6 record...Earned All-America honors as a member of Team Michigan at the Disney Duals in June 2006...Also was an all-state rugby player his senior year.
PERSONAL: Born 10/18/88...Son of Steve and Maureen Strachan...Career ambitions include running his own business and getting into politics...Lists his grandparents as his heroes.
