Academic All-Big Ten
INDOOR: Had a stellar sophomore campaign in the throws ring, resetting her personal records in both events... Won the shot put title at the Meyo Invitational with a massive lifetime-best launch of 16.55m... Set a personal record in the weight throw at the Michigan Invitational with a mark of 17.78m to finish fourth... Logged a first-place finish in the shot put at the Silverston Invitational (15.67m) and won the weight throw at the Heartland Invitational (17.59m)... Capped her indoor stretch at the Big Ten Indoor Championships, finishing 16th overall in the shot put with a toss of 15.25m.
OUTDOOR: Continued her heavy progression across the shot put, discus, and hammer fields... Extended her season all the way to the NCAA East First Round in Lexington, qualifying in the shot put and finishing 32nd overall with a mark of 15.54m... Placed 16th in the shot put (15.68m) and 25th in the discus (41.37m) at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships... Smashed her personal record in the discus at the Len Paddock Open, launching a 48.70m throw to finish second, while also taking fifth in the hammer with a lifetime-best 54.25m performance... Captured individual event titles in both the shot put (15.12m) and discus (44.16m) at the Auto-Owners Insurance Spartan Invitational... Set an outdoor seasonal best in the shot put at the Jesse Owens Classic with a 16.35m mark to place third.
