Shanteisha Pruitt returned to the Spartan Family in the summer of 2018 after completing her undergraduate degree at Michigan State in 2007 and serving as the Big Ten Intern Fellow at MSU from 2010-12.

As the Big Ten Intern, Pruitt worked with Michigan State's men’s soccer program that advanced to the Sweet Sixteen in 2010 and the Spartan football program during their runs to a Big Ten Legend Division championship in 2011 and an Outback Bowl championship in 2012. She most recently spent five seasons working with the MSU women’s soccer program that captured their first Big Ten title in 2022.

In 2016, Pruitt expanded her Big Ten experience at the University of Maryland from 2016-18. Prior to Maryland, she was an Associate Athletic Trainer and spent time as the Interim Head Athletic Trainer for Morgan State University from 2012-2016.

Pruitt loves education and has worked as an adjunct professor at Morgan State and MSU. She received her Masters of Arts from Morehead State University in 2010. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree.
