2019-20Â (Redshirt Junior) 16-15 Overall, 8-9 Duals, 5-4 Open Tournaments: 2020 NCAA Qualifier ... Awarded the Tom Muir Most Improved Award at the team banquet for his performance during the 2019-20 season ... Competed in all but one dual for the Spartans at 149 pounds, where he went 8-9 ... Finished the season with three falls and one major decision ... Went 3-1 at the Cougar Clash on Dec. 7 on his way to a third place finish at 149 pounds ... Helped MSU secure a shutout over Duke on Dec. 29 at the South Beach Duals with a fall over Wade Unger ... Recorded decisions over South Dakota State and No. 23 Jaron Jensen of Wyoming on Dec. 30 at South Beach Duals ... His two wins in Big Ten action came over Michael Doetsch of Maryland (6-1) on Jan. 19 in East Lansing and a 4-1 decision over Mousa Jodeh of Illinois on Jan. 31 in Champaign ...
