Wrobel Named Italian Tournament MVP

COMUNANZA, Italy - Spartan volleyball outside hitter Jenna Wrobel was named MVP of the Sibillini International 20-and-under volleyball tournament in Comunanza, Italy. The tournament was held July 7-12. Wrobel, who will be a senior tri-captain at MSU in the fall, played for the Nike Blue team. Spartan teammate Christie Landry, a sophomore setter, played for Nike White.
The 16-team tournament featured opponents from the Czech Republic, Russia Slovakia, Croatia, Hungary, Yugoslavia and Italy.
