Each day the Michigan State volleyball team starts practice with a motivational quote from one of its players. They are responsible for a week's worth of quotes that apply to the team in some way. This week's quotes come from redshirt freshman Marley Bellwood.
"If you want to build a ship, don't herd people together to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea."
"What you do speaks loudly that I cannot hear what you say."
"Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there."
"Champions aren't made in the gym. Champions are made from something they have deep inside of them - a desire, a dream, a vision. They have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill, and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill."
