Spartans To Host Indiana Saturday Night

The Michigan State volleyball team will play host to Big Ten rival Indiana this Saturday night at Jenison Field House. MSU lost a tough 0-3 decision to cross-state rival Michigan Wednesday sending its overall record to 11-14 with a 4-11 Big Ten slate. In the loss, Ashley Schatzle led the Spartan hitters with 13 kills, while Katie Johnson and Megan Wallin added 11 and 10 respectively. Saturday will also mark the annual alumni weekend event for MSU volleyball. Those alumni in attendance will be honored between games two and three of the match.

MSU will travel to Northwestern and Wisconsin Nov. 18 and 19 respectively, before returning home in the final weekend of regular season play to host Penn State and Ohio State. The contest vs. Ohio State on Nov. 26 will also play host to senior night festivities for the 2005 senior class.
