EAST LANSING, Mich. -
1. What are your thoughts and expectations for your freshman season at MSU? "Personally, I hope to improve my blocking skills, and our team goal is to be Big Ten champions."
2. What do you plan on majoring in at MSU? What are your career goals? "I'm in James Madison and I'll be double majoring in pre-med and political science. I'm interested in going into something dealing with medical research, but I'm trying to find something to blend political science and medicine together."
3. So far, how would you describe the transition from high school to college volleyball? "It's a lot more time in the gym, and the focus is on attention to detail. When we are going through drills, it's not just about getting the ball over the net, but getting it over the net with a target in mind."
4. What other sports did you participate in when you were growing up in Naperville? "I played basketball, and I used to dance when I was really little."
5. What is your favorite restaurant and why? "Probably Portillo's; they have really good salads, so it's healthy but still tastes amazing."
6. Do you have any former teammates or friends on any of the teams MSU is scheduled to face this season? "There are a lot of my former teammates that I will face. My old setter is going to be playing for Penn State, and I also have friends playing at Illinois and Minnesota.
7. What match do you look forward to the most this season? "Penn State for sure, just because they are at the top of our league right now and I really want to win that match."
