Spartan Volleyball Adds Setter For 2007 Season

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State head volleyball coach Cathy George announced Thursday that setter Lauren O'Reilly (S, Langley, British Columbia/Pacific Academy) has signed a National Letter Of Intent to attend Michigan State and compete for the volleyball program, beginning in the fall of 2007.
Below is information on O'Reilly:
Competed for the Fraser Valley Volleyball Club (Blitz) under head coach Mike Gilray, while attending Pacific Academy... Member of 2006 Canadian Junior National Team... Won Athlete of the Year honors during junior and senior seasons of prep career... Garnered all-tournament honors at multiple events, including the Canadian Nationals (MVP 2005, All-Star 2006), the British Columbia Provincial Championships (MVP 2005, All-Star 2006, All-Star 2007) and most recently at the Canadian 18-Under Championships (MVP) where she led her team to a National Championship title... Plans to study secondary education at Michigan State.
George on O'Reilly:
