Meet the Spartans: Jordan Hamdan

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State wrestling will feature a newcomer weekly throughout the preseason in order to "Meet the Spartans" leading up to the 2019-20 season. This week, freshman Jordan Hamdan (Hudson, Mich./Hudson High) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions.
1. Why did you choose to wrestle at Michigan State?
Â
I chose Michigan State because I wanted to be close to home.
2. What are you most excited about as you begin your Spartan wrestling career?
Â
I am most excited about seeing improvement within myself and the team.
Â
3. When did you first start wrestling?
Â
I started wrestling when I was four years old.
Â
4. What is your favorite wrestling memory?
Â
My favorite wrestling memory was winning team states.

5. What are you majoring in at Michigan State and why?
Â
I am majoring in kinesiology at Michigan State.

6. Who has taught you the most about wrestling growing up?
Â
My father has taught me the most about wrestling growing up.

7. If you were a superhero, what would be your power and what would be your name?
Â
My power would be teleportation so I can go anywhere warm during the winter. My name would still be Jordan.
Â
8. What is your favorite meal?
Â
My favorite meal is Chicken Alfredo.

9. Favorite TV show?
Â
My favorite TV show is The Office.

10. Favorite thing to do besides wrestling?
I enjoy playing basketball.

Added a fifth place Super 32 medal in 2018, and an All-American finish at Flonationals..
