No. 13 Michigan State Hosts Notre Dame on Saturday Night

East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State's men's basketball team plays its second game of the 2020-21 regular season on Saturday night, Nov. 27, hosting Notre Dame at the Breslin Center. Tip time is slated for 8 p.m.
The game will air live on BTN, with Lisa Byington and Stephen Bardo calling all of the action. The TCF Bank Spartan Media Network radio call can be heard on one of 38 affiliates and on the web at MSUSpartans.com, with Will Tieman handling the play-by-play and Matt Steigenga serving as the color analyst. The game can also be heard on Sirius 113, XM 195 and Internet 957.

- Redshirt junior forward Joey Hauser (Stevens Point, Wis./Stevens Point) had 15 points and nine rebounds, while junior forward Gabe Brown (Ypsilanti, Mich./Belleville) had 12 points off the bench.
- When Michigan State and Notre Dame meet on Saturday, Nov. 28, it will be the 97th meeting between the programs.
- The Irish lead the head-to-head series, 60-36 ... MSU has won three of the last four games and nine of the last 13 overall.

- In addition, MSU welcomes back Langford, who has missed most of the last two seasons with foot injuries, and Hauser, a transfer from Marquette who averaged 9.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 29.2 minutes as a freshman ... Langford was averaging 15.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists over the first 13 games of the 2018-19 season.
- Notre Dame plays its season opener on Saturday night at Michigan State.
- The Irish are coming off a 20-12 record in 2019-20, including a 10-10 mark in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
- The Irish lost two of their top players from last season (John Mooney, 16.2 ppg, 12.7 rpg and T.J. Gibbs, 13.3 ppg, 3.3 apg), but return two other starters, led by junior guard Prentiss Hubb, who averaged 12.1 points and 5.1 assists per game last season in 32 starts … Hubb also tied for the team lead in 3-pointers, connecting on 76 shots from long distance (34.4%).
- Junior guard Dane Goodwin averaged 10.8 points and 3.8 rebounds and hit 52 shots from outside the arc (37.7%).
- Also back for Notre Dame is 6-11 graduate forward Juwan Durham, who started 31 games and averaged 7.8 points and 4.6 rebounds while blocking 66 shots last year.
- Junior forward Nate Laszewski, who started once, averaged 7.4 points and 4.6 rebounds.
