Get to know new Spartan freshman wrestler Andrew Chambal
EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State wrestling will feature a newcomer periodically throughout the preseason in order to "Meet the Spartans" leading up to the 2020-21 season.
This week freshman Andrew Chambal (Davison, Michigan / Davison High School) sat down with msuspartans.com to answer some questions.
1. Why did you choose to wrestle at Michigan State?Â
It was the right choice.
2. What are you most excited about as you begin your Spartan wrestling career?
Going on road-trips with the boys.
3. When did you first start wrestling?
First started wrestling when I was 9.
4. Favorite wrestling memory?
Wrestling overseas
5. What's your major at Michigan State and why?
I plan to major in business so someday I can run my own company.
6. Who has taught you the most about wrestling growing up?
Roy Hall
7. What superhero power would you have if you could choose one?
Telekinesis
8. Favorite meal?
Breakfast
9. Favorite TV show?
Prison Break
10. Favorite thing to do besides wrestling?
Motocross
