No. 24 Michigan State Plays at No. 25 Iowa on Tuesday Night

East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State's men's basketball team hits the road for the start of a challenging stretch over the last two weeks of the regular season, playing at Iowa on Tuesday, Feb. 22 (7 p.m., ESPN). The Spartans will play three of their final five games on the road.

The game will air live on ESPN, with Jason Benetti and Robbie Hummel calling all of the action. The TCF Bank Spartan Media Network radio call can be heard on one of 38 affiliates and on the web at MSUSpartans.com, with Dalton Shetler handling the play-by-play and Kevin Pauga serving as the color analyst. Freshman guard Max Christie is third on the team with 9.7 points and has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week five times.
Senior forward Marcus Bingham Jr. is averaging 9.2 ppg and leads the team with 6.1 rebounds and 2.4 blocked shots per game.
Redshirt senior forward Joey Hauser adds 7.2 ppg and is second on the team with 5.7 rpg.
Junior forward Julius Marble is averaging 6.3 ppg and 3.5 rpg ... In the last three games, Marble is averaging 9.3 ppg and 9.0 rpg.
Junior guard Tyson Walker is averaging 8.0 ppg and is second on the team with 4.3 assists and sophomore teammate A.J. Hoggard is averaging 6.7 ppg and leads the team with 5.1 assists.

About Iowa

Iowa enters the game on Tuesday night with an 18-8 overall record and an 8-7 mark in the Big Ten following a 75-62 win at Ohio State on Saturday.
After losing their first two conference games of the season (at Purdue, Illinois at home), the Hawkeyes have won four of their last five games.
Iowa is 13-3 at home, including a 5-3 mark in conference games, with losses coming to Illinois, Purdue and Michigan.
