
Gymnastics Hosts Green and White Exhibition Saturday at Jenison Field House

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State gymnastics is set to host its annual Green and White exhibition meet on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 1 p.m. at Jenison Field House.Â
The meet gives the team the opportunity to compete in front of fans and judges prior to the official start of the season. Following a typical dual meet format, the Green team will begin on vault and White team will begin on bars.   Â
The team will be available for autographs following the meet.Â
Nyah Smith, Tara Walsh, Giana Kalefe, Gabrielle Stephen, Skyla Schulte, Olivia Zsarmani, Elle Beaufait, Gabi Ortiz, Kendall Abney, Lauren Hsu and Emma Misenheimer will represent the Green team. Delanie Harkness, Jori Jackard, Baleigh Garcia, Naomi German, Sydney Hayashi, Katie Sawyer, Genevieve Lebster, Nikki Smith, Sage Kellerman, Stephanie Lebster, MaKayla Tucker and Isabella Trostel will represent the White team. Â
Admission to the Green and White Meet is free. Please note that beginning this Saturday, Dec. 16, Michigan State University is introducing walk-through metal detectors at Jenison Field House. This new addition adds to the university's already-existing expansive safety and security portfolio. When entering Jenison Field House, guests will not have to initially remove items from their pockets unless the metal detector alarms. MSU officially opens the 2024 season at the Super 16 Meet the weekend of Jan. 5 in Las Vegas. Â
