QUICK BITS
- The Spartans went 2-0 last week earning back-to-back shutout wins against Indiana, 1-0, and Central Michigan, 3-0. This was the first back-to-back shutouts for MSU since 2021.
- The Lulu Fulton and Ellie Rutherford connection has been clicking on all cylinders recently. Fulton has found Rutherford for goals in each of the last two games including the game winning goal over Indiana in the 57th minute mark.
- Freshman Bianca Pizano picked up her first collegiate goal in the victory over Central Michigan.
- Five different Spartans have scored a goal in the last four games: Lulu Fulton, Kim Smit, Lena Kassel, Bianca Pizano, and Ellie Rutherford.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS

- NU enters the week ranked third in the NFHCA Coaches Poll.
- Northwestern is on a nine-game winning-streak, scoring three or more goals in seven of the nine games with six shutouts. Coming in at 9-1 the Wildcats are 2-0 in Big Ten play.
- Peyton Halsey leads the team with 20 points on eight goals and four assists.
SCOUTING THE HAWKEYES

- Iowa is ranked No. 1 in the NFHCA Coaches Poll for the fourth week in a row.
- Freshman sensation Dionne van Aslsum leads the country in goals per game (2.33), points per game (5.11), and goals scored (21). She is a three-time B1G Freshman of the Week, two-time B1G Offensive Player of the Week, and two-time NFHCA Offensive Player of the Week.
- Hawkeyes' goalie Mia Magnotta has allowed just three goals through nine games. Magnotta has tallied 18 saves with a GAA of .33 and .857 save percentage.
