EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State track & field will make its second-straight trip to Ann Arbor with 60 entries set to compete in the Simmons-Harvey Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 17 at the U-M Indoor Track & Field Building.
The Spartans are coming off of a successful return to action last week at the Wolverine Invitational. Adam Blue (pole vault) and Leila Barmore (long jump) both earned even wins in MSU's first meet of 2026.
The meet will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the men's weight throw, as well as the men's and women's long jump. The Spartans have four athletes competing in the weight throw in Dalton DeBeau, Xavier Griffiths, and Colby and Dillon Morlock. In the women's long jump, Tess Roman and Gabrielle Jeffries will be in action in the long jump.
The running events will commence at 11 a.m. with the prelims of the women's 60m hurdles, followed by the men's 60m hurdles prelims. Roman will be in action in the women's 60m hurdles, while Dylan Terryberry and Logan Allen will run the men's 60m hurdles.
The Spartan middle distance squad will be in full force with five women competing in the mile and six running the 800m. The MSU women will also have four running in the 3000m.
The meet will end with the men's 4x400m relay at 3 p.m.
