 EAST LANSING, Mich. – In the last week of preparation before the 2026 Big Ten Indoor Track & Field Championships, Michigan State track & field will split into multiple groups for the third time this year to conclude the 2026 indoor regular season.
The Spartans will send selected student athletes to UM Indoor track building in Ann Arbor, Michigan on Friday, Feb. 20, to compete in the Silverston Invitational hosted by the University of Michigan. Following Friday's Silverston Invitational in Ann Arbor, MSU will send a second group of selected student athletes to Notre Dame, Indiana, to compete in the Alex Wilson Invitational inside of the Loftus Sports Center on Saturday, Feb. 21, hosted by Notre Dame University.

Heartland Invitational
Michigan State is coming off a strong showing at three different meets last weekend. At the Heartland Invitational, the highlight of the weekend for the Green and White was graduate student Logan Allen claiming the top spot on the podium in the men's 60m hurdles. Allen won the event with a new personal best and school record time of 7.75. Along with Allen, Noah Sage and Cameron Cheetam each had top two finishes in the men's 600m and men's 60m dash. Sage won the men's 600m finishing with a time of 1:19.60, while Cheetam finished second in the men's 60m dash with a time of 6.76, which was the fourth-fastest time in Michigan State history, as well as finished second in the men's 200m dash with a time of 21.27, .01 seconds off his personal best. On the women's side of things, Elle Adrian finished second place in the women's weight throw with a 20.74m throw. This marked the fourth time this season that Adrian had a top two finish in the women's weight throw. Sophomore thrower Rylan Finstrom notched another top three finish in the women's shot put open and the women's open weight throw, finishing in second place in both events. In the open weight throw, Finstrom's furthest throw was 17.59m with fellow teammate Margaret Jones finishing three spots behind Finstrom with a throw of 17.23m. In the women's shot put open, Finstrom's furthest throw was 15.21m, with Jones trailing behind by three spots with a throw of 14.22m. Finstrom has now marked three top five finishes in the women's weight throw, as well as six top five finishes, along with four finishes inside of the top two in the women's shot put.
BU Valentine Invitational
The Green and White had a successful trip out to Boston, Massachusetts last weekend at the BU Valentine Invitational. Graduate distance runner Andrew Nolan finished 26th in the men's 3000m with a new personal best time of 7:57.76, which was the sixth fastest time in MSU history. On the women's side of things, Elizabeth Anderson finished seventh in the women's 400m with a new personal best time of 55.39, which was the tenth fastest time in Michigan State History. Graduate student distance runner Olivia Millen finished 29th in the women's mile with a new personal best time of 4:37.95, which etched her name into Michigan State history with the sixth fastest time in MSU history.
GVSU Big Meet
The Spartans had several distance runners set new personal bests in the mile at the GVSU Big Meet. Junior distance runners Mia Rogan and Anjali Kidambi set new personal best times in the mile, with Rogan finishing tenth with a time of 4:54.34, and Kidambi finishing 12th with a time of 4:55.51. On the men's side, the trio of Brady McArdle, Gage Killewald, and Owen Gilbert also set new personal bests in the mile run. McArdle finished sixth with a time of 4:05.31, Killewald finished ninth with a time of 4:06.58, and Gilbert finished 13th crossing at 4:08.99.
Silverston Invitational Lineup:
On Friday, Feb. 20, the Silverston Invitational is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. with the women's weight throw. The meet will end following the conclusion of the men's 4x400m relay, beginning at 8:10 p.m. Each event will begin with the women's event taking place first, then will transition into the men's event, with each men's event underway immediately following the woman's event. The action for the Green and White begins at 4:00 p.m. with the women's weight throw and the women's long jump. In the women's weight throw, Margaret Jones is the lone Spartan competing, while Gabrielle Jeffries is the only Spartan competing in the women's long jump. At 4:30 p.m., the women's pole vault is scheduled to begin with Sophia Mettes and Natalie Blake set to compete for MSU. The next event with Spartans competing is the men's weight throw beginning at 5:15 p.m. MSU will have throwers Xaiver Griffiths and Dalton DeBeau representing the Green and White.
 The men's 400m dash will begin at 6:00 p.m., with Alex Yon competing for the Spartans. Yon will then be the only Spartan competing in the men's 600m dash beginning at 6:15 p.m. Also beginning at 6:15 p.m. is the women's shot put. Throwers Rylan Finstrom and Margaret Jones are set to represent MSU. At 6:55 p.m., the women's 200m dash will begin with Gabrielle Jeffries as the only Spartan slated to compete. Twenty minutes later, the men's 200m dash will begin, with distance runner Jeremy Dixon competing for the Spartans. The meet will conclude for MSU with the men's shot put, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. Brothers Dylan Morlock and Colby Morlock are the two Spartans set to compete.
 Alex Wilson Lineup:
On Saturday, Feb 21, the Alex Wilson Invitational will begin with the shot put, weight throw, long jump, and triple jump all beginning at 11:00 a.m. Â For all the other events, the women will compete first followed by the men competing immediately following the women. Also beginning at 11:00 a.m., the prelims of the 60m hurdles will begin for the men, with the women set to be underway at 11:15 a.m. The men will compete first in the pole vault, high jump, the prelims of the 60m hurdles and 60m dash, as well as the distance medley race. At 11:30 a.m., the pole vault and high jump will begin with the women kicking things off, along with the prelims of the 60m dash will be underway with the men running first and the women running at11:45 a.m. At noon, the men's distance medley race will begin. After a thirty-minute break in between events, the meet will continue with the women's distance medley race at 12:30 p.m.
 The 60m hurdles final will begin for the women at 1:15 p.m., while the men will begin at 1:25 p.m. In the 400m dash, the women are set to compete at 1:45 p.m., with the men's following five minutes later. At 1:55 p.m., the mile run begins with the women, while the men will be competing at 2:05 p.m. The 800m run will begin 10 minutes later with the women beginning at 2:15 p.m., and the men competing in the 800m at 2:25 p.m. The 200m dash for the women will begin at approximately 2:40 p.m., while the men are set to run in the 200m dash at 2:45 p.m. At 2:55 p.m., the 3000m run will begin with the women competing first followed by the men at 3:10 p.m. The meet will end with the conclusion of the 4x400m relay, with the women starting at 3:25 p.m., and the men starting at 3:35 p.m.

The Michigan State Track & Field indoor regular season comes to an end following the conclusions of the Silverston Invitational and the Alex Wilson Invitational. On Thursday, Feb. 26, the 2026 Big Ten Indoor Championships will begin from the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavillion in Indianapolis, Indiana, with selected Spartan student athletes competing in numerous events. The 2026 Big Ten Indoor Championships will conclude on Saturday, Feb. 28.
