2020 (REDSHIRT-FRESHMAN): Earned Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honors ... An Academic All-Big Ten selection ... Did not see any action while recovering from injury.
2019 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted first season at MSU.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year letterwinner at Salem High School for head coach John Wright ... A two-time all-district and all-KLAA conference honoree ... Posted a 5-1 record with an ERA under 2.00 and hit .357 at plate as a senior ... Played in the 37th annual Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association East-West All-Star Game, with fellow Spartan signees Brian Martin, Jacob Erickson, Gabe Sotres and Reese Trahey, helping the East to the victory by pitching a scoreless seventh inning allowing a hit and walk to go along with a strikeout, and hitting an RBI double off the wall in left at Comerica Park ... Logged six wins with a 2.20 ERA with 50 strikeouts on the mound during junior season, while posting a .361 average with 18 RBI, while adding one home run as part of hitting .361 at the plate, playing first base and limited outfield action, when not pitching ...
