2025 (at Louisville): Played in seven sets across seven matches ... Totaled four kills, a pair of dig and one block.
2024 (at Louisville): Played in 14 sets across 11 matches as an outside hitter for the Cards. She totaled 17 kills, five digs, two blocks and an ace in her time on the court. Against Northern Kentucky, she tabbed a career high eight kills on 21 attacks, while also digging up two balls. Alanna posted a 0.571 hitting percentage against Virginia Tech, with five kills on seven attempts. Bankston served her first career ace in the 3-0 win over Duke.
2023 (at Louisville): Appeared in 11 sets as an outside hitter. She had a career-high six against both Wright State and Syracuse. She hit .275 on the season and recorded one block. She was a member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
Prep:Â Alanna Bankston is a 6-1 outside hitter from Omaha, Neb., where she played for Millard West for Coach Joe Wessel and played club with Premier Nebraska for Coach Shannon Smolinski. At Millard West, she was a Preseason Super Six and helped her team to the 2021 state runnerup spot. In 2022, she was named AVC All-Region and on the AVCA All-American Watchlist. She was part of the USA NTDP training series and made PrepVolleyball's Top 150 Class of 2023.
