O'Keefe got his coaching start as a volunteer assistant at Dayton in 2017 where he worked with six Atlantic 10 All-Conference players, including the A10 Setter and Player of the Year. The Flyers finished the 2017 season with an overall record of 23-8, along with a 13-1 record in A10 matches.
A three-time team captain at Saint Xavier University, O'Keefe has been an active coach in the Chicago volleyball community since 2014.
