INDOOR: Put together a strong senior campaign for the Green and White, setting a series of personal records in the mile... Opened the indoor slate with a fourth-place finish in the mile at the GVSU Holiday Open, clocking a 4:09.56... Followed it up by finishing 11th overall in the mile at the Meyo Invitational with a time of 4:08.56, while also contributing to the 4x400 relay squad (3:23.46)... Smashed his previous best at the GVSU Big Meet, crossing the line in 4:06.58 to place ninth... Closed out his indoor season with a lifetime-best performance at the Big Ten Indoor Championships, running a blistering 4:04.37 in the mile prelims to place 15th overall.Â
OUTDOOR: Campaigned consistently across the middle-distance loops during the spring stretch... Kicked off the season at the Raleigh Relays, recording a 3:48.20 in the 1500m... Maintained his momentum on his home track at the Auto-Owners Insurance Spartan Invite, capturing a runner-up second-place finish in the 1500m (3:49.35) and running a leg on the 4x400 relay team (3:27.05)... Clocked a historic lifetime personal record in the 1500m at the Wake Forest Invitational, finishing ninth overall in a blazing 3:45.96... Doubled back at the Jesse Owens Track & Field Classic, recording a season-best 1:54.06 in the 800m and a 3:59.80 in the 1500m...
