Shattered the elusive four-minute barrier in the mile at the Boston University Opener, winning his heat with a blistering, career-best time of 3:42.91... Continued his elite speed stretch at Boston University later in the season, clocking another stellar sub-four potential mark of 4:01.30... Remained a key factor for the Green and White on the national middle-distance radar throughout the winter loop.

OUTDOOR: Maintained his historic momentum into the spring to solidify himself as one of the premier 1500m runners in the Big Ten... Opened the outdoor loop with a stellar performance at the Raleigh Relays, clocking a blazing 3:40.75 in the 1500m to take seventh place overall and secure the third-fastest mark in Michigan State history... Stepped down in distance on his home track, competing in the 800m at the Auto-Owners Insurance Spartan Invitational... Produced a masterpiece performance at the Wake Forest Invitational, capturing the 1500m Invite Four title with a lifetime-best 3:38.73—just fractions of a second off the school record to solidify the No. 2 spot all-time in the MSU record books...
