Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for his performance versus Miami (Ohio) on Nov. 1 … Swam a personal and team-best time of 15:15.06 in the mile at the Big Ten Championships and placed 14th overall in the event, making him fourth fastest in school history… Won the mile at the Northwestern Invitational… Swam a personal and team-best 9:32.78 in the 1000 free… Swam a personal and team-best time of 4:24.54 in the 500 free, entering himself into the school’s all-time top ten in the event… Recorded three first-place finishes, four second-place finishes and one third-place finish over the course of the season...
