At his first Big Ten Championship, swam in the prelims of the 200 free (1:40.01), 500 Free (4:30.71), 1650 (15:41.30) and in the 800 free relay (6:38.35) … At Michigan, took third in the 200 free (1:42.37.), claimed second in the 500 free (4:35.77), and helped the 200 free relay to a third-place podium finish (1:26.72) …
Prior to MSU:
Four-year letterman and three-year captain at Cypress Ranch … Earned All-District honors all four years, all-region three, and was an all-state selection as a junior and senior… Graduated with school and natatorium records in the 200 and 500 free … Finished eighth at 6A state championships in the 500 … Made the cut for Winter Juniors as a senior and the NCSA junior national cut as a junior … USA Swimming Gulf Athlete Representative his final three years, and was the secretary as a senior … Most recently swam club for Katy Aquatics, but previously for the Texas Terrapins.
