Academic All-Big Ten … Recipient of the team's John Munley Memorial Scholarship ... Big Ten Sportsmanship Award Winner … At the Big Ten Championships, swam in the C final of the 100 breast and posted a finals time of 54.11, which put him 23rd overall. In the prelims of that event, he clocked in with a time of 53.92, a lifetime best and also an NCAA "B" qualifying time … Also at Big Tens, was a part of MSU’s 200 medey relay (1:27.34) and was MSU’s top finisher in the 200 IM (1:50.04) and the 200 breast (1:58.23) where he was the first alternate into the finals and posted an NCAA B cut … Helped the 400 medley relay to a second-place finish at Michigan (1/22), and also took second in the 100 breast (57.06) and also in the 200 breast (2:08.19) … At Penn State, finished third in the 100 breast (56.51), fourth in the 200 breast (2:06.84), and also swam the anchor leg in the 400 medley relay (3:22.77, third) and first leg in the 200 free relay which finished second (1:28.16) ...

Finished 26th overall at the Big Ten Championships in the 100 breast, setting a new personal-best (54.88)… Eighth all-time in the 100 breast… Swam a lifetime-best 1:50.44 in the 200 IM, 24.52 split in the 200 medley relay and a season-best 2:01.84 in the 200 breast at Big Tens… Swam a lifetime-best at the U.S. Open in the 200 IM longcourse (2:08.71)… Tenth all-time in the 200 breaststroke (2:01.84)… Recorded a season-best in the 100 IM versus Iowa (55.03)… Swam a season-best 4:16.60 in the 400 IM versus Kenyon College…
